 Sales Information

Thank You for you interest in our herd of Nubian and LaMancha Dairy Goats.
We hope that you have already taken the tour around the farm and visited the goats pages.
We have been raising goats for nearly 20 years and really are addicted to these wonderful creatures.

Our Nubian Herd consists of M-Star, Cactus*Point, Crown-Hill, , Dreamhigh, Kandlewood and a few others.

Our LaMancha herd is still in the beginning stages. We started off with a bred doe from Celtic Knot who gave us a doe kid we retained. Our LaMancha herd sire is Fir Meadow PH Trophee  *B.
2004 brought about many changes. Many animals were sold due to unforeseen circumstances.

We require a $50.00 deposit on any kid ordered. This deposit is non-refundable unless the kid of your choice isn't born. You can transfer your deposit to another kid of your choice if your first isn't available. Deposit must be made in CASH or POSTAL MONEY ORDER ONLY.

We recommend that you make several choices just in case your first or second are not available. The balance is due when kid(s) are picked up. Or before being shipped.  Once again cash or postal money orders only please. We really prefer  that animals be picked up from the farm.  This gives you an opportunity to see the rest of the herd as well as the overall health of the other animals.

Kids must be picked up by 4 weeks of age. If later than 4 weeks then a board fee will be added of $2.00 per day per head and must be prepaid.

All Shipping fees, health certificate and any other expenses associated with shipping an animal are the  responsibility of the buyer.
We can ship out of Portland Internatinal Airport.

All kids receive BO-SE, CD&T, and Pastuerella vaccine before they are disbudded and then given a booster 2 weeks later.

Here at MIK~MAR~FARMS we do our level best to provide healthy, happy, good quality animals for our customers.
We attend each and every birth and all kids are pulled and raised on heat treated colostrum, colostrum replacer or cow colostrum from our family cow. From there they are put on pasteurized goat milk and some milk replacer. When our cow is fresh I often raise kids on that milk. We also add Decoxx-M to the milk for cocci prevention.    All adult animals were CAE negative in June 2003.

Thank You for your consideration in purchasing an animal from our farm.
